    I am assuming this is a 24v system, 2 12v batteries in series. Charging them in parallel at 12v would be quit a hassle. You can't have the packs in series and parallel at the same time because this will create a short, so you can't easily use one 12v charger. I don't see a big problem with charging...

  • I should be ok for now on any extra battery cases. I have my 9 year old niece putting them together and she is starting to get over the whole battery building excitement.     I have no knowledge of the zx-1 but do have a little in swapping to different battery chemistries. Have you put a multi-meter on the battery to see what a full charge voltage is? Are you sure you have lifepo4 cells? Lifepo4 cells are 3.2v and will nicely make a 12v battery. Li-ion cells charge to...
