Ask questions on here and put a pic of the chair. With you in it from side (with your arms straight down) and front. Pic of you in your old chair might help too.

A friend of mine sent a woman she played wheelchair tennis with to my house to learn not to fall out of her chair. I opened the front door and fell in love with those eyes. She never left.

AAAgh I reread my post and you have to hit the foot rest up to release the wedges....

After you loosen the two allens on each tube hit the foot rest down to release the wedges in there. Then you can slide the whole thing up. I think you can change the angle on the foot plate too. Might have to loosen the screws that hold the plate a lot, then even put a wedge (screw driver) in the clamp...
