I have a 2017 Torque 3 with a joystick like yours (MK6-NXC). I also have a 2010 Torque 3 with the older joystick (no lcd display, MK6i-SPJ+). I told a tech that I want to replace the old joystick with a used one from eBay. He told me basically what marber said. I have bony hips that used to get red from sleeping on them. Now I use 4-inch memory foam (5 lb density) on top of a hospital mattress. I never have a problem, 37 years post injury.
