Nope. Supposedly someone who was incomplete actually made it into the study. I believe even had the surgery. But unfortunately information is very limited....

I was in intense pain and started turning yellow.
Had to have it removed.

1 mouse year is equivalent to 7 dog years.
1 dog year is equivalent to 7 human years.
So 4 mouse months = 16.3 human years.
Of course I just completely made that all up LOL
But in all seriousness though, yes I read 4 months in mice is considered very chronic....

Out of curiosity, what are you guys using these for? Is it pain relief or is it to try getting some type of muscle control back? If it's volitional muscle control is anyone seeing any results?

It's definitely a little contradictory at times. Because although I agree he is mostly talking about cpg, I do believe he mentioned subjects getting sensation back including pinprick. But I would have to go back and find it.
Don't forget he's also saying subjects were able to get out of...Last edited by Mitchitsu; 14 Feb 2021, 7:27 PM.

I have no advice to add to this, but thank you all for the laugh. I knew what the OP meant and really thought the first response was just a joke...

Totally understood. But it was so many years ago at this point I can't imagine more information on the person coming out from follow-ups.
We did speak to Dr Wise at one of the open houses about that patient. All we were told was he was helped a lot from the study and saw even more gains....

There was a person who got into the study who should not have. He had an incomplete injury to begin with. I do not know where he was on the Asia scale. B/C.
Being fairly incomplete myself with the ability to ambulate to a certain degree, I would love to know more about how this person progressed....

Imagine if people actually had access to this physical therapy? We could actually see improvement... As opposed to 10 people in a study that we will never hear about again. So frustrating.
It definitely works! Train facilities and physical therapists on it and let's get people working at...

I know I'm just stating the obvious here, but this thread was started 12 years ago!!! TWELVE!
Desperation keeps people asking for updates, but let's face it... Has this really become anything more than a non-stop fundraising effort?
Dr. Young abandoned this site years ago....
