    Well he should know better being an ID doc. What we're all faced with in the medical community at large is being good antibiotic stewards.     Just to let everyone know since I got a few messages, I successfully cleared my ESBL Klebsiella infection.

    I was on IV carbapenem drugs while septic and started on the fosfomycin PO q7d and daily bladder irrigations of amikacin. I forget the dosage but your urologist will order it compounded....

    I would agree, you do need some hand function to hold it against the anus. I bet you could figure out a quick hookup to connect a Peristeen catheter to the Irypump base. Best of both worlds.

    And yes, you have to get it from the global market. You can check the other thread I did on the...

    Thanks for quoting me, I definitely haven't been on here in years! I used to use it daily but do every other day now. With the Irypump you do not need to squeeze anything, all you need is to hold the rubber cone up to your anus and "plug it up," then turn on the unit and let the pump instill...
