I think most just irrigate rather than use a suppository. I've never had that problem since getting my Sigmoid Loop.

I keep a spare appliance ready to go in a bag I keep in the van. Never had to use it yet but it's there if needed. We use the Hollister #7805 barrier ring. THey look like a large life saver candy. We stretch it out to fit the hole and heat it up a bit with a hair dryer to form around the edge of the...

    It's that way at first.

I use a hand towel or dry wash cloth and place between my pants and under bag. Then place a paper towel over the h towel. Slide disposable bag over paper towel and under the small flange to catch the bag and any run off. I have an extra paper towel to wipe away any...

  • Our own SCI55 beats him by 5 years (1954). Still congrats to him but he's not the longest living quad.

Thanks KLD, we make a point of not overusing the Cephlex. Every C&S done in the past 40 years turns out that it was the antibiotic to use.

Will recheck with my Uro. So far the extra Vit.C seems to clear up the color and any sediment in the urine. I realize that doesn't define it as...

I just picked up one of those ropes with two handles too. Great piece. The secret using them is to completely relax the arm being pulled up and hold for approx. 20 seconds then reverse concentrating on the torso as you pull down slowly. I do about 5 reps each arm then change angle of the rope to 45o...

If I feel a UTI may be starting up, I increase my H2O and Vitamin C. My Uro. gives me Cephlexin by the 100. That'll last me a couple years on average. If the Vit. C doesn't clear up the urine, it usually does, I'll do a ten day regimen of 3x's a day. If that doesn't clear it up, I'll take a sample...

I see a chiropractor.. I also have stretchy bands and cords attached to hooks over my stander. I pull down on them while standing or sitting in my chair to get a good stretch on the intercostals which helps with the ribs and relieving the tightness in the ribs.

I just bought a SkiErg by...

No food restrictions what so ever. I had to find a new hobby to take up the time I used to spend sittin' on the pot. And, no worries about needing to find a bathroom or if one is accessible away from home. I can change out my bag in under a minute, at most, if needed. I keep three bags wrapped in two...

COngrats. on getting it done. I dropped all the colace, stool softeners, Miralax etc. after my Sigmoid Loop. The only thing added was one Imodium pill in the morning to help with a more solid stool. I keep a small supply of Senna for the odd time I feel I may be getting backed up. That may have happened...

I just bought a Concept 2 SkiErg John Squires (Fuentes) recommended for an indoor upper body workout. Just set it up today and feel it's going to be a good addition to what I already use. I like that it is an overhead work out. John is a C5 and has a few videos of him working out on one. The action...
