I am not masochistic enough to listen to more than a few minutes of that internet troll!
I don't get how he is trustworthy when he makes a living at being wildly contrarian, so, no thank you!

and while you guys are doing brakes, I'd love to have a brake that the lever would progressively increase drag.
I live in a converted barn and there's a lot of places the chair needs to be locked or it rolls away. (big time in my shop!)
It would be so nice to be able to dial in enough to...

I've had luck using my MIG welder.
Turn up the heat, attach ground to the discard end, and zap it. Good to try a few pieces first; how fully it melts together depends on timing....

Go for it!!
It's always satisfying when a gimp can outdo the capitalists AND improve an implementation!...

Not much this complete T12 can add except that if I ask my big toes to raise, I could swear I feel them pushing against the top of the shoe..............
even the right one.........where the leg was amputated!

SR: just saw your post. I'll get you a better photo & description later.
Also: if you are MIG welding, don't lay the gun on your lap after making a pass!! The hot protruding wire will instantly melt through the cushion and cushion cover!! I managed to do this twice before getting rigorous...

Wow, Paul, you've been lucky! (I seem to be a frequent flyer)
IMO necessary kit includes a long recharging cord for the phone.
Good luck, bud!...

please plug your wheels into the new tube and measure the track before doing something you may regret!
The width of the new setup should be very narrow between the zero camber AND the 3/4" shorter axle.
And, I agree with SR; cut the middle of the tube to narrow it.

For my flap, it was a no-brainer I'd need a colostomy. They gave me a choice: temp or permanent.
I said, WTF, make mine permanent.
It's been so much easier having a front loader rather then a bottom one!...
