So, I just got Firefox and Chrome. Firefox works/looks exactly like my Safari screen shots but Chrome looks the same in both portrait and landscape mode, but looks different than the landscape mode in either of the others on iOS 13.7 on my XR. It retains the pull down menu (the 3 horizontal bars on...

(I reckon I should install a few other browsers to get a feel for how the site looks and works on them as well.)

Yeah. That's a browser specific behavior, with Chrome, and also depends on the resolution and screen size, as to how much room the browser has to display stuff, I think. Each browser interprets and renders the site code in slightly different ways. That's been an 'issue' with web browsing and using...

Where it is depends on how you hold your phone. (Edit: AND which browser you're using!) Landscape or portrait mode in Safari on iOS 13.7 looks like this:

If you put an @ as the first character in the username they'll get a notification of the post. Yes, you have to have a coating on an aluminum chair. TiLite uses powder coat on their chairs now, IIRC, and it's quite durable. Mine has been a year without any noticeable scratches. It was recently dropped...

  • I'm checking it out. It's a bit confusing. The interface is kinda clunky (eg buttons on the bottom are too near the screen edge). It's missing some important detail re: fitting and self assessment, I think. The vocabulary could be better. I'll comment on the review page in the App Store for the...

    replied to Lubricant for cathing
The hydro caths I use come with a small pouch of sterile saline solution attached. Squeeze the pouch to pop it and the water flows into the cath section. All this prior to opening it, of course. After opening and cathing I just dump it into the toilet. (Lofric Primo)

    Ditto on the water...

    replied to Lubricant for cathing
I switched to hydrophilic catheters, and I'll never switch back! Having the whole shaft lubricated has made a huge difference in ease of cathing for me. Prior to that I just used the single use Surgilube packets. I had issues maintaining decent lubrication where it counted the most for me, though,...

  • I recently added an OLight bicycle handle bar Flashlight mount to my frame tube to hold a small LED flashlight as my forward illumination at night. It works awesome. Super easy to pop the light out to use handheld or clip to the brim of my (almost always on) ball cap, too. I use it every day....

  • I can't speak for fuentejps, or quads in general (I'm a T12), but I suspect the issues with SD -vs- Zx1 have more to do with setting them up; hooking it up/taking it off and turning the power unit on/off; more so than how it's activated once properly installed and turned on....

I like the blue flame but if you're gonna go with flames, go all the way. My favorite is the last picture. The black rims look like trying too hard. The flames take it to the edge, and are cool, but with the black rims with silver bolts it's too much for my tastes. I might like the blue flame and...

  • What kind of insurance are you using? If the DME is a participatory provider (aka in-network), then they are contractually obligated to accept whatever reimbursement their contract says they get. They can't bail on you because they think they won't make enough money. They also can't "balance bill"...

  • yeah the satin is only for titanium. The 'matte' is what they call the 'satin' like painted aluminums finishes. There are only 2 options. Ive been happy with the 'titanium grey' matte finish. Its a powder coat not a paint, so its quite durable. Been a year with no signs of wear other than having...

  • How I did it, was the DME brought the first CAD (free) to my house for me to review. We sat at my kitchen table and I marked it up with all the stuff they (or he) got wrong from our original spec conversation. He took that, updated the electronic order submission with the changes, and got another...

  • Are you using a good cushion? I use the same type of cushion on my bike as I do my chair (Stimulite Contour XS), trimmed to fit the bike seat. I'm not sure the standard foam that comes with most bikes provides adequate pressure distribution. Especially not for someone with a pressure sore, or at...

Maybe, but their base population mortality for Vets who were diagnosed was 7.7%, which is more than twice the base population mortality of non-Vets in general. That suggests there was some inflated accounting going on. If their base rate was more than twice normal their SCI rate could be as well...
