Must be just me then. Anything with BZK in it cause my metus skin to get red then dark and dry and swollen like it's been burnt after a few days of use. Maybe I'm allergic to it.

I've just been putting a drop of alcohol based hand cleaner right in the metus and letting it sit for a bit while getting the cath hydro packet popped and open. It seeps down a few mm too which is good IMO. Yeah it kinda fucking burns a bit, since I can feel the left side some. Doesn't leave and...

  • Thanks will check on this. I use Remember Me cookie so I'm always logged in when I open CC so I never see this. The since last visit thing is quirky. It's based on session timer which is set at like 3600 seconds right now. It doesn't have a 24 limit or anything.

Yeah, sure, but some form of device to attach them would need to be developed. I just used gravity and friction to try it out. When turning it's easy for it to slip and cause a mess. At speed that'd be super dangerous.

Some kind of small bracket that could be easily transported or clipped...

Yeah. There are no absolutes, but it is the norm. Those functions/nerves innervate the sacral region which is all the way at the bottom of the spinal cord. Most SCI occur above that, compromising signals to the brain from that region in some way. I'm sure some extremely incomplete SCI escape the...

It might be too soon for a full Urodynamics work up, but it's still a great idea to have a Urologist make the call vs the rehab folks. There is still a lot of recovery to happen over the coming months. Just keep it in mind and see what the neurologist and others say too. They're the pros.

Awesome. I remember 'back in the day', having some heated exchanges with you and others (when I was using my old DaleB account...I think I'll merge that history into Oddity one day soon) about the value of life and coping with this SCI bullshit. I can't say how awesome it is to read your stuff now...

IVF is a common fertility solution but so is IUI. It's much easier and much less expensive and less invasive. I'm able to produce an antegrade ejaculation (semen comes out normally) with only PVS (penile vibratory stimulation). They make medical devices designed for this (ie Ferticare) but I just use...

I'm a T12/L1 'incomplete' from being hit by a car also. I have some sacral sparring and decent sensation and some muscle control down to my knees. I also have a fixation from t10-L3. I was considered "complete" (no sacral sparring) upon discharge from the hospital.

    I made most...

I used a NuProdux for about 10 years. It was expensive but solid. Decent cushioned seat too.

Interesting. I'd be curious to know if that ever slips. Can't tell exactly how it works but it sure doesn't look like much surface area of that bolt head is grabbing the bracket. I might have opted for a washer there if that bolt is all that's holding the angle.

Is that slot a small angle adjustment for the back rest?

Every brand has its fans. I've pushed Quickie, TiLite, Lasher, Marvel, and Icon. My next will be Hands on Concepts. IMO they're all very much closer to each other than the marketing hype and end user anecdotes usually reveal. It's mostly about fit and options rather than quality and durability....

It's our pleasure. I'm doing very little, to be honest. I'm basically holding a flashlight over Paco's shoulder as he works. Not much in the front end changing its all backend stuff.

    Site Maintenance this weekend

The recent security and functionality patches will be going live Sunday morning. Might be some short service interruptions and performance implications (also as testing the process occurs prior to that this weekend).

Sorry for any inconvenience. Should be the last software changes for...

It sounds like you're in good hands with infection specialists, but I sure hope they're also up on spinal cord injury/neuropathic bladders as well, and not basing their recommendations off of bacterial presence alone. That's not necessarily abnormal for us. E.g. Nitrite and leucocyte esterase are among...
