Can you start practicing doing tasks that require attention with music/noise in the background, and see if you can train yourself to tolerate it? Like start doing crossword puzzles, or writing emails that are less critical or doing smaller work tasks with the music. Build up your tolerance with practice?...

Honestly, when my Dad gets admitted, we bring everything that he normally uses at home. It is a pain, but it helps. So his CPAP machine, his elevated toilet seat, all the stuff he needs for bowel...

My Dad thinks it helps him feel better, helps him build muscle easier, improves his hematocrit (red blood cell counts) and it definitely helps his bone density/osteoporosis....

How do you do your bowels?
My Dad has had some trouble in that area and it seems to have started from his elevated toilet seat and some bottoming out/rubbing there. His wound care doc also thought shearing (with bed mobility?) was making it worse. It took a long time to get things improved....

Thanks, we do appreciate you posting about your experience.
My Dad has Movantik at home, but has never tried it. Right now his routine is working ok, but if things changed it is something he might try. He was very very nervous about trying it....
