    Catheter irrigation with sterile water or Normal saline is 0.9% saline‚Äč? I'm getting a lot of soft to hard sludge in catheter in the morning. (it looks like one of those old Christmas snow globes). I don't know which one works best. I have two different doctors that told me two different solutions.

    Five years ago due to a tragedy I ended up with hypertension and 2 years ago prandail hypotension. The prandail was easily taken care of with 5mg Midodrine. It only happens in the afternoon after eating a high carb lunch. As far as the hypertension it took quite a while to get the right med. But finally...

    Same thing here I just started irrigation about four weeks ago. When I first started doing it I did it the way you stated, it suck out all of mucus/grayish looking junk and it worked fine. Well I guess it just don't work that way anymore. So like you said you just have to let empty out by gravity....
