How difficult to re-apply for Ssdi?

I was on SSDI from 2011 to 2018. I went back to work at the beginning of 2018. My body is starting to get pain from both shoulders and fingers. I am a T2 complete. I’m. Ot sure how much longer I can do this. What is the process of reapplying and how difficult since I’ve stated working after injury?

It’s not hard, generally, for SCI. It’s an automatic qualifier, IIRC. However, you might have to apply again from scratch, because it sounds like you’re right near the edge of losing access to the Expedited Reinstatement process, that is open to SSDI recipients up to 5 years from the month of their final payment to you.

If you’re inside the window, they’ll start you right back up, without much fuss, just a little paperwork.

My experience was a long time ago. But when I reapply, they said ok, and that was pretty much it. Not sure if I even had to go into the local office. I think I did, but not sure.
