I know we talk about but I read this this is plain fraud and stealing we all should check our bills. this a a good reason why the cost are so high

It's good to see that link to public radio, possibly the ONLY reliable mainstream news and information source.
The same one that Trump is removing all federal support for!
(IMO, a terrible move, especially considering the programming for very young children)
PBS had some federal funding since it started!

Look at your own legislators (Senators and Congressional reps) and see how much money they take in campaign donations each year from Big Pharma (and insurance companies). Until they stop accepting "donations" like this, your representatives are essentially bought by these companies and will likely take no action to remedy this situation in the USA. Medicare for All would require contracting for drug pricing (as the VA does now with huge discounts); currently laws prohibit Medicare and Medicaid from contracting for discounted prices.

thank you I personally feel that no politican could accept $$$ from and corps or ceo etc. also may be wishful thinking but spend no more than the job pays some is really wrong with spending million on a job that pays less than 200000

The House of Reps have a bill, waiting for a long time for the Senate to approve, controlling drug costs. Mitch will not allow it to proceed.

The Bush 43 regime attacked PBS and NPR too. Like Fox News, they claim it is bias. Those claims still persist today.
