Go to your local vocational rehab office. In most states if you're in a chair they'll give you a wheelbarrow full of money to pay for books and tuition and you don't even have to write an 800 word essay. I live in a conservative state down south that doesn't believe in handouts and I got a little over $100,000 from vocational rehab for school and school related supplies (including a standing wheelchair).
