The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.

US Code: Title 38 Veterans Benefits

U.S. Code: Title 38 Veterans Benefits downloads, by title or chapter, or complete (zip file 7 MB). Great resource, easy to navigate and search PDF files. A must-have for veterans searching for truth about eligibilities.

    Happy learning.

ETA: Okay, an example: Look up Independent Living Skills, I got great help with computer access, and more; theoretically, anything that helps me live independently. Great program. Keep in mind that I'm 100% SC and most of my research and success is based on that. Your Mileage May Vary.

Keep your eyes out for changes to Title 38 CFR coming soon. Part 3, the section that deals with entitlement to VA benefits, will become Part 5 once the changes are finalized.

Shouldn't be too bad. Surprisingly, VA consulted with PVA early and often on those sections most pertinent to paralyzed vets. It'll be out for review and comment soon. Once we see the new Part 5 we'll know more.

Glad PVA was involved. It was a rhetorical question. As you say, we shall see. Thanks for the heads up.
