I've been trying to find information on how the vaccine could effect people with ATM. Has anyone gotten the vaccine and did it cause AD or your ATM to get worse? If anyone knows of information regarding getting vaccinated with TM could you post the link. I'm not vaccinated, my doctor wants more information on the side effects so we can prepare for them. Any help is much appreciated.

I have gotten multiple cord lesions over 26 years which have been called both “transverse myelitis of unknown origin “ as well as possible MS. Rule of thumb w vaccines generally for people who may have an immune system disease has been to avoid live, attenuated virus vaccines (such as flu mist). The Pfizer is not live virus. I got my two as soon as I was eligible back in March. Minimal to zero side effects. As I’m paralyzed and am unable to cough properly, I’m very happy to have some protection against covid. Thank you, I think I found enough research to calm my doctors concerns. My main concern was the side effects would trigger AD. After reading the experiences from people on here, it makes me less nervous. Thanks for replying.It is not how we fall that defines us..
