Lookout Big Pharma! The Mushrooms are on the way!

Been saying for years, based solely on my own anecdotes, that authentic psychedelic experiences, with naturally occurring compounds, turned my life around, many many moons ago. An about face, 180deg shift for the better.

It is About time researchers are starting to crack this open.

Not for me. Not that I noticed. I don't use them recreationally or regularly. Once every couple of years, using the McKenna protocol. Probably wouldn't notice if my legs fell off on 5 dried grams in silent darkness. Too many interesting things to talk to. ;/

I think they're doing a study at Emory (and maybe other locations) that's a clinical trial for psilocybin. So maybe in 20-25 years you'll get a chance to trip on medical mushrooms. FDA wheels turn slow.

Thankfully they grow in my backyard. F the FDA.

Yes, Mize. Kratom was on NBC news about an hour ago.
                https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/health/K...473468633.html

Here’s an online article from yesterday.
“...Studies on kratom have found that at lower doses, the drug has a stimulant effect, while at higher doses, it has an opioid-like sedative effect, according to the Journal of Medical Toxicology paper.”

If I take a half teaspoon, I roll around happily, without pain, cleaning house. If I take a little more, I can sleep without clonus (annoying kicking of the stump of my amputated leg) keeping me awake. I filled out one of the online survey requests, directed to the government, petitioning that Kratom remain freely available.

Anyone can order the syringes with whatever specie of mushroom they want to grow and do their own "research".

No, man, I just dry and eat random mushrooms I find. Jesus. Of course I do. They aren't there exactly by accident.

Ok, so I thought I would expedite and simplify the process and just started licking the sides of a cattle trailer parked at the local truckstop. Except for the poor timing of having a cow with a bad case of intestinal distress covering me with feces sprayed out the side of the trailer, I think I got a good lick of the good stuff. The only problem was nothing really happened after my tasting session. What did I do wrong?

I found a place online that sells Mushrooms, Shiitake whole (Lentinus elodes) at $3.62 per ounce, and I bought some. The shipping price on just the one item would be $8.00 though, so, of course, I ordered the mushrooms along with other goodies. According to research at NCBI, Shiitake mushrooms are good for reducing tooth decay, gingivitis, and dental plaque.

I love my mushies but those Shiitakes cost an arm; nice though.
