  • Vegas hotels w/ wheel-in showers?

Has anyone travelled to Las Vegas and found any hotels with wheel-in showers? I'm contemplating travelling there sometime in the near future and prefer to get as hotel with a wheel-in shower if possible. Can anyone list some hotel names?

PS: Any hotels that you found very accessble/good to stay at in general would be appreciated too, thanks.

Virtually all of the newer hotels have roll-in showers available, although not all rooms that are "accessible" have them. Keep in mind that if you have a lift that you should also ask for a room with a non-platform bed as well. It is critical in Las Vegas that you asked to have a room "blocked" when making reservations, as otherwise your reservation does not give you a specific room, just a room.

A few to check out include the Bellagio, Mirage, Wynn, Bally's, Luxor, the Hilton, MGM Grand, Rio, etc. You will find more on the Strip than Downtown. Even Circus, Circus has a few roll-in shower rooms although it is now getting to be an older hotel.

It is pretty easy to get a wheelchair cab in Las Vegas. At the airport, just ask at the curb (shuttles too) and at the hotels or casinos ask the bellman to call one for you (give them a tip...everyone in Las Vegas expects tips for any favors).

The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.

RJC, Check out some comments from this link. All Bellagio HP rooms have roll-in showers. Call any of the hotels you're thinking of staying at and ask them. Definitley stick to the newer hotels on the strip....there's plenty of them. http:///forum/showthread.php?t=91604...ight=las+vegas
