Yes, I do recall that. Apparently it was a myth. But a damn good story to tell the grand kids.

I don't think I actually answered this question yet. So here's my ultimate dream car. Has been since the car was new. Some day I'll have one of these...

That, my dear, is a 1980 Ferrari 512 Berlinetta Boxer or 512BB. It has a 5 liter, 12 cylinder, carbureted engine that screams like nothing you've ever heard before! Still the sexiest supercar I've ever seen.

I'm diggin' the Ben Hur chariot blades on the wheels. AKA old school bling.

Knock offs are cool looking, but they certainly limit the type of aftermarket wheels you can throw on a car. Finding tires that fit the odd sized Ferrari wheels is a pain too. We actually changed the wheels on my Mondial so that we could run more common tires on it. Way cheaper than finding metric.

I like this car too! Tesla Motors Roadster
All electric and 0-60 in 4 sec. Bad side is not much room for chair...

My car is an '85 Ferrari Mondial QV Cabriolet, similar to what was featured in Weird Science. My car is a medium blue metallic with a parchment leather interior and a black canvas soft top. She's not the prettiest car ever built in Maranello, but any Ferrari is better than no Ferrari at all!

Oooh, you have good taste. I also have a long-running love affair with Italian cars but must say that the closest that I have been able to get to a Ferrari is a Fiat. Sigh.

                            Wise.

This is my buddys car in Florida. I would love for him to just let me have it.
