Recently, a close, personal friend invited me a few to share with the CareCure Community a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a easily reachable, newly opened, late winter, early spring and (of course) summer VACATION DESTINATION. This FULLY WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE LODGING is locatedin ORLANDO, FLORIDA. The owner created this 501(c)3 Florida non-profit as a mini-resort property in memory of her daughter, Tiffany, who suffered with a rare form of muscular dystophy and, not unlike us, also longed for a warm winter get-away, wheelchair friendly centrally located ...private, yet close to many popular vacation hot spots such as the major theme parks, NASA-Cape Canaveral, Coca Beaches sunny beaches, zoos, aquariums, parks, world class restaurants.
As described in the below brochure, Tiff’s Place is a 3,000 sqft ranch designed, and equipped for wheelchair users and their families. on 5 acres of property including amenities such as adjustable-height countertops/appliances in the kitchen, also shower chairs, Hi-Lo beds, and SureHands transfer lift all the way to bathroom, no need to drag large devices away with you while outside you’ll can enjoy a hydro-therapy pool, pretty gardens and horse barn.
