Funny. Julie and I saw a camper conversion hi-top van and began wondering about possibilities just the other day.

Very cool. Lots of great ideas. Be sure to look at the video attached to the NY Times article. Looks like he is towing an ATV in some of the shots.

The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.

I’ve never seen like that lift before. For sure he’s an adventurous dude. I’d love to do something like that. Been wanting to build myself a van kinda like that since I saw a sports mobile while camping in New Mexico. The sports mobile company made a one off wheelchair accessible version like 15 years ago.

        Maybe one day soon.

I have seen boom type van lifts like that before. Most are designed for loading a wheelchair into a trunk bed or an unoccupied scooter into the back of a van or SUV. I suppose this one is modified from that.

You've got the Spirit and from some of the great innovations you have posted on CC you have the tech ability and smarts to come up with a rig that would be outstanding.
