Has anyone heard about them or used any of their setups? I'm interested in their High Quad setup. https://www.beadaptive.com/products.html

I checked theirs out back when I decided to go hunting again. The price was a put off and I also wanted to do as much as I could, so I designed my own. I have a heavy metal plate that sits under my cushion that has a slot where the vertical bar goes into and locks. My gun and crossbow are able to move side to side and pitch up and down by how I move my head.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDTb1qoZKUU

At the end of the video, you can see how I control the bow with my head/mouth.

If you have any questions, let me know.

By the way, mine was built for less than $100 in materials.

That is awesome! Do you use the same setup for shooting your gun? Do you have any pictures of your setup? I like your price much better than theirs.

Here is a video of me shooting my gun. I was using a toggle switch in the video which caused my shots to go to the left. I have since switched to an air pressure switch to shoot the gun now.

I will see if I can find my photos of each piece. It is extremely basic but works well.

Thanks for the pictures. That is a very cool setup. Did you come up with the setup? Who helped you put it together?

Me and my dad bounced ideas back and forth, then I would draw it out on the computer and he would build it. He's a jack of all trades and I like to design so we work well together. I did base part of the design on the be adaptive model but changed it so that I could do as much of the "control" myself.

Our first design was over-thought out and also was made for a 12 gauge. The 12 gauge was NOT designed to be shot with your mouth. lol

Do you have a rifle in mind for use with this mount?

I would not recommend using it with a 12 gauge lol. I can only imagine. I just started thinking about it but possibly an AR15. I might want a pistol also. With the be adaptive setup I could use any rifle or pistol. I also like their 3.5in screen with the scope.

An AR shooting .223 would be even easier to shoot than my SKS 7.62x39. I wanted a traditional hunting rifle but the cost was double the SKS.

If you have the funds, go get it and have fun. You might look into digital hunting/rifle scopes as well.
Some you can connect to a screen, others bluetooth to your phone.

When I first decided to hunt again, I worried about my aim range so we designed and built a wheelchair sized "lazy-susan" device that my dad could swivel me around on by pushing with his foot. It worked but was impractical because of its weight. It would've been ideal for a fixed blind with a roof.

I wouldn't be hunting just shooting at the range. Be adaptive offers a SCS Scope Camera System. Definitely something I am going to check into.

If you're just going to target shoot, I would go with a 22. But that's just me.
                    20 cents a shot for .223 versus 5 cents a shot for .22... I'm a frugal bastard.
Also much quieter and less recoil.

I think that there are cheaper scope camera systems.

Also, have you thought of airguns. There are some that take multiple round (pellet) magazines. Up to 10 pellets. PCP stands for pre-charged pneumatic. Check out youtube or airguns of Arizona for a start.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.

Thanks for the info. I might do that to start off with.
