in 2015 it was the westin, now margartitaville. i think bed was fine. when the lift wont go under we go in at the corner so not huge deal. perfect hotel area we will go back to it.

We were thinking about going to Key West and staying at the Margaritaville Resort. Unfortunately the pictures on their website shows platform beds. https://www.margaritavillekeywestres...accommodations We stayed at the Margaritaville Resort in Pensacola and it was setup perfect.

Yeah it doesn't look like much room at the end of the bed. Might be the angle of the picture. I was worried about there not being enough room to get around the room and enough room to maneuver the lift. Sounds like there is. Do you remember the room # you stayed in?

Sorry, I don't recall the room #, other then it was on the 3rd floor, directly to the right as you leave the elevator.

Yes, we were there last week. We stayed in the Signature room. It didn't have a roll in shower and not a lot of room but enough to get in and out of bed. From now on we will only stay in the Terrazzo room.

We ate at Yardbird's, Dolce's and Pizza Bar. On our way back we ate at Zinburger in Ft Lauderdale.

Can you please share how you are able to use the lift at the corner? I assume you then have to pull yourself (or be pulled) up quite a bit in the bed, and the opposite to transfer out? I imagine probably not easy to do?

its not too bad.
getting in-
spread lift legs and lift with butt towards corner of bed. get as close as you can then my wife pushes me back as she lowers lift. once in i lean on my elbows, she lifts legs at ankles and i scoot back.
getting out-
easier. she just grabs my ankles and we slide to corner, feet on floor then lift out.
