Wheelchair accessible hotels in Toronto near the Rogers center/CN tower

    Hello all-
I'm in Massachusetts, high level quad, and looking at traveling to Toronto this summer. Wondering if there is any hotels that anyone recommends for accessibility/roll in showers etc. in Toronto, especially in the area of Rogers center/CN Tower.

    Thank you in advance

There are many accessible hotels in Toronto. I was an accessibility consultant when they were preparing for the 1976 summer paralympics. It used to be a great weekend escape place for my wife and I when we lived in Pittsburgh. They got off to a great start and I am sure things are even better now. Here is a list of wc accessible hotels. If you go to their websites you will find the accessibility details. I know that the Hyatt Regency has rollin showers. Probably many others do. I am sure you will enjoy Toronto.

We had a great stay in Toronto a few years ago.

Here's a TripAdvisor list of hotels near the Rogers Center:
And hotels near the CN Tower: This should help with determining distance from where you want to be.

Not all these hotels have true "roll-in showers". The Hyatt Regency and the Intercontinental Toronto Centre do. We stayed at the Intercontinental.

If you are able to stay at one of the nicer chains, I'd recommend calling the hotels well in advance of your trip and asking the concierge ( or front desk manager ) to email you a photo of their "roll-in shower". Once I explained the reason for asking, they were most accommodating. I was surprised to find a few "roll-ins" with inclines and one with a 2" lip to keep the water in.

      For transportation, I'd recommend:
They have very clean ramp vans and reliable service.
