    Disneyland

We are planning a visit to Disneyland and wondered if anyone has been there lately? On their web site they mention a Transfer Access Vehicle for wheelchair users to help transfer onto some of the rides. Has anyone used one of these and what are they? Also, any other tips would be appreciated. My son hasn't been there since his accident and we are not sure what to expect. Many thanks!!!

It has been a few years since I have been there but I was able to get on some of the rides in my chair. Not sure how the TAV's work but I am sure someone will chime in. Enjoy!!

ive been to disneyworld several times..not disneyland, but im sure all the same...what u mention is a ride that u cannot stay in wheelchair to go on, but the ride has bigger "cars" that allow for room to transfer from your wheelchair...the rides are basicaly- transfer to ride ....can be in "manual"wheelchair on the ride...can be in power or manual on the ride..........some rides have a car u can wheel right onto and stay in wheelchair.......while some have the special car to make it easy to transfer out of wheelchair.........the good thing is, no lines, always go up to front and they will have u go in to board in a specific spot
