I need to take a weekend trip out of town. Is there a way I can get a discounted rate on a plane ticket. I can't afford a second, and they can't either.
    C'mon buh bub!

I believe you can get a discount for a caregiver ticket in Canada, but not in the USA. You can try to purchase tickets at at discount on Priceline or other auction travel site, but although there is a provision for the airlines to provide a caregiver if THEY determine you need one during your flight, this is extremely unlikely, and they choose the person, not you, and it is only for the duration of the flight (not for the rest of your trip).

The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.

There used to be a discount of 50% in Canada.

Now the attendant fare is discounted 100%
