Have you called the state Centers For Independent Living or Parks and Recreation? And hope you don't mind me deleting your other post as they're the same basically.

Seems it's State Parks in Iowa. A quick search came up with this place.

http://www.iowadnr.gov/parks/state_park_list/beeds.html Try calling there number and asking if they have a list or better website to find these places.

Are you anywhere near Lake Michigan? I know a few states chapters of NSCIA and the DAV have boat trips out to fish. Might check if there's a dock up there too. No joke, you can even eat a fish or two a year without dying of toxic fish syndrome. Yea, when I was a kid we went down to Zion State Park in Illinois and the biggies there then were the dunes and the afternoon dead fish washing up onto the shore.

Oregon has many accessible docks. Pictured is Trillium Lake at the base of Mt. Hood. Regular stocking of pan size and some trophy rainbow trout.

Here is a link to a pretty good list of accessible docks in Oregon.

Is that where you jump in the water, shove yer arm into a catfish's hole and get so up close and personal it's bordering on illegal in fourteen states?

Can't say as I blame you.

Timaru, you were spot on in describing that fishing method
