    Attendees will learn about the latest and upcoming Pain Management Partnership resources for pharmacists, college of pharmacy faculty, and pharmacy students. This event also is an opportunity for the media to be introduced to some of the APhA Rx Media Advisors.



    Pain Management Partnership: Pharmacists & Patients Working Together

    When: Saturday, March 27, 2004
    Time: 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. (Pacific)
    Where: Washington State Convention Center (Room 203), Seattle, Washington

    This briefing will be moderated by James Appleby, Senior Vice President, American Pharmacists Association.

    Attendees will learn about the latest and upcoming Pain Management Partnership resources for pharmacists, college of pharmacy faculty, and pharmacy students. The Pain Management Partnership was launched in August of 2002 by the American Pharmacists Association (formerly the American Pharmaceutical Association), in partnership with Purdue Pharma, L.P. The partnership aims to address the issues of appropriate pain management and prescription drug abuse. This event also is an opportunity for the media to be introduced to some of the APhA Rx Media Advisors who will be present at APhA2004, APhA's annual meeting and exposition (Seattle, Washington, March 26-30, 2004).
