Howdy,
A quick question to those who may have found relief from previous experiences.
Infusions, Lidocaine, Lidocaine mixed with Ketamine etc.
As a T8 incomplete para since '92, both neuropathic and nociceptive pain is a bitch, I threw out my back in 2010 lifting weights and since then, bejaysus, it has been a fun ride.
Been on a variant of cocktails, all in high dosages and for one reason or another, most failed and as of now, Targin, Lyrica, Baclofen are meds of choice to take a slight edge off. With most meds for ortho pain, it messes with the bowel program, neuro meds fook with weight gain no matter whether the diet is strict.
In December, I had my first Lidocaine infusion, aside from being off me skull during the infusion, there has been no benefit. My pain specialist advised, this can take a matter of months, infusions to get the correct cocktail that might work.
On the next infusion, Ketamine, Magnesium are to be added to the Lidocaine. That'll be a blast.
My preference is to go down this road, possibly venture back every two to three months for a top-up. Get rid of all the pills that are being popped and get me fooken life back.
So much for "
Has anyone tried infusions with the above cocktail in an attempt to rid both

a
quick question".Has anyone tried infusions with the above cocktail in an attempt to rid both
neuropathic and nociceptive pain or have found a cocktail similar, with your pain specialist that has worked?
Apologies if I'm parroting what may have come before you in a previous thread.
