Does Baclofen Pump work for NERVE PAIN?

I think we may be at the end of our rope here. My husband has severe central pain (burning butt and legs 24/7). We've tried all the normal meds (though I have to do some research on what doses of each you guys are taking to see if we tried enough of each one). ANYWAY we're now considering a pump. I read some other posts, and there is a lot of talk about relief from spasms but not much I could find about whether it helped with the burning pain (which is the only reason we'd consider it). Any input here?

They can add dilaudid/morphine to the baclofen pump for this. It can take a fight, but several here have done this and gotten massive relief.
    T3 complete since Sept 2015.

I saw that there was the possibility of other meds. The only thing is, he (my husband) was booted from pain management for having an extra medicine in his system, and so I'm not sure if narcotics are any longer a possibility. They may be, I just don't know what they do with someone like him (who's in pain but was booted from pain management).
