    New to Forum

I am new to forum and rather inexperienced in this kind of communication. I had a spinal cord stroke in feb 2013 between C7 T12 and am looking for any information/encouragement I can find. I am able to walk with a cane, have lost temp and pain sense on the left side, have weakness on the right side and balance difficulties. I was excited to find this forum today.

Finding this forum brought tears to my eyes. I didn't realize I was so emotional. It is comforting to know I am not alone and nice to have people who understand and can share information. Thanks for the welcome.

Welcome to the forum, Annie. You will find a lot of people here with challenges similar to yours and lots of good advice, too. SCI is overwhelming, especially in the beginning. This site has saved my sanity on many occasions.

I want to thank everyone for the welcome. I am learning quite a bit from this forum. I've been reading previous posts by others that have answered some of my questions.

Welcome to CC, Annie! I'm sorry for your circumstances but glad you found your way here. I echo what Truly said. It's one of my most important tools for battling my SCI and emotions. There are such wonderful and loving people here - you don't have to feel alone any longer.
