    Understanding Spinal Cord Injury

This new educational program, designed for those who are newly injured and their family members, is available on-line here:

    http://www.spinalinjury101.org/

This DVD/video was funded by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, The Shepherd Center, The Amercan Trauma Society, and the National SCI Association (NSCIA).

    (KLD)
The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.

Thanks KLD, the video's are excellent. I saved them to my favorites so I can review them again. We were all glued to our TV's when Bob Woodruff was injured. We just need to hold on to the faith, like his family did.

I have been a C4/5 tetra since 1976 and it still frightens the life out of me thinking just how delicate and susceptible our bodies are.

This is really helpful. I find it is exact what I want. It provides me meaningful information.
Recently I have coped with disbelief whether I can recover or not. I can't see sign of recovery. If I can not, I know that I have to accept my circumstance.
