  • Please don't leave

All of the "helpers" out there who are planning to leave cc, please don't. You have helped so many people, we all need you here. I look forward to coming here every day to learn from your experiences and to meet the wonderful people of this community. I can't even begin to tell you all of the help and support I have recieved, not by posting myself, but by simply reading your posts. It is reassuring to know that others go through the same things I do and that noone is alone. I am sure others feel the same way. So, before you go, please think of all the succces stories and the people you have helped along the way. Then maybe reconsider your decision, if not for yourself, then maybe for them. You don't know how valuable you really are. I thank you all for everything, and hope that you decide to stay. Either way, I will respect your decision.

To Dr Wise and all the nurses I am truly grateful to have you a a resource as well. It is your efforts that truly make this all possible. You are the BEST!

Awwww, thanks so much guys and gals, it means a lot. We are always here for you, I am speaking for all the other moderators and all the members who offer help on a daily basis. Members who have lived it are a huge help, A lot of times on the R and S and Equipment forums I moderate members are right on top of things and almost no post goes unanswered, even when I am not around the forums. This site is great. For the real expert advice with the super technical stuff the Nurses and Wise stay right on top of things. We all are not going away anytime soon, we all have worked hard to make this the #1 Spinal Cord Injury information site on the web.

I don't know about you Curt but I often learn from newer injuries as well. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

Yes that is true, sometimes we as older injuries need to remember all we had to go through to get where we are today.

Regarding leavers - Once you've posted a few 100 times, you are addicted to Care Cure Crack. The cold sweats and shakes will compel you to post on the "other" sites but leave you with a feeling of emptiness. Soon you'll be dabbling again, a post here, a comment there all the while telling yourself you can stop at any time. But you know what you really want...let's not take ourselves TOO seriously now...
