    Moving- scary!

At the end of March I'm moving down to NC temporarily. My boyfriend is staying in NY with his parents to save up money to move us out to CA. My parents live in NC plus two very close friends. Anyone here live in NC? I think zillazangel (or something) did and was willing to give us advice. I'm on SSI and Medicaid, how does that transfer? I'll either get an apartment with one of my friends near Raleigh or live by my mom in Greenville. Any advice?

I'm not positive Kimmy, but I think each state has different medicaid rules and such. You might have to sign up again in the new state for medicaid. As to SSI, since I think part of it is from the state, you might also have to sign up again in NC.

I'd find out for sure before you move so you can avoid any lapse in coverage.

    Good luck on your move.
