DA, probably just another dime-a-dozen Texan seeking his fortune in Paradise, but forgot to look both ways before crossing Hwy 90, otherwise known as "Blood Alley."

Oh well ...

Patrick, did you hear about the hurricane party on the Mississippi coast when Camille hit in 1969? DA, weren't we talking about it the last time we ate together? Weren't they in a hotel right on the water when that 25 foot tidal surge hit? No one lived to tell about it.

I like Rae's plan for a hurricane party. Move out of the path and have fun while you wait it out.

My grandparents drove us along the coastal highway in the summer of 1970. All those mansions along that road were wiped out. It was a mess.Hurricane Camille

Marth, you just seem too nice to flame, but take your TEXAS hating butt back to Lousy-anna and don't come back again .

I saw it too (yea right) it was some Lousy-annan run over by a big Texas sized Ford pickup truck. Damn Lousy-annans need to learn not to touch a man's truck, boat, fishing pole, gun, or especially the cooler.

nooooo, martha needs to come to texas. it gives her a chance to get out of that coon-ass talking, country pumpkin, kush-kush eating, swamp infested, ending each sentence with 'sha', thinking nawlins is big but if it was in texas it would be texas 7th largest city, pot holes common, casinos with no sportbook, state.

Martha, as sweet as you appear to be, you are welcome in our state, but must follow some rules:
1. no flaming Texas while here
2. Do not touch a man's truck, gun, dog, boat, or cooler unless invited to do so.
3. You must frequently say the word 'howdy' befor introducing yourself to a gentleman.
4. If not treated like a lady, that individual is not a Texan, kick him in the nutts and tell him to go back to California.
5. I'll make some more up a little later, have a meeting to go to.

Martha doesn't have to head West... she just needs to point herself eastward and cross that river. Mississippi men know how to treat a lady. A little strawberry wine, snug-close body dances under the Magnolias and moonlight, long slow passionate kisses that start on Friday and end on Sunday, the silky sound of Patsy Cline as the night fades into morning.

Oh my, Rusty, I do believe I'm swooning! I need a Japanese fan and a mint julep ...

Yeah, boy, Mississippi sure is soundin a LOT more appealing than Texas! Ladies, note the difference between Texas men compared to a Mississippi MA-YUN!

Of course, knowing moi-self, I'll get the Mississippi men just as aggravated with me before long. It's part of my southern charm.
