    Help from Math people

Can anyone solve the geometric progression for me? I remember from eighth grade that that’s what they’re called, but not how to perform the formula. If a price went from $215 to $270 over four years, what is the common ratio?

    5.85986% per year compounded

Start with the ratio of 270/215. Find the fourth root of that (270/215)^.25)
