Today my wife and I are celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary. We are in uncharted waters. When we got married, my predicted life expectancy was about 20 years post injury. I had already used up 10 of those years. Needless to say, our long term plans were pretty short. lol I doubt that either of us would have made it this far alone.

Wow, congrats. My new gf wants to get married summer 2020. I'm 43, 28 years into SCI. I sometimes wonder how much time I'll get with her before SCI catches up to me. Whether I'll get to 'grow old' with her. I hope it's as long as you and yours have had... assuming I don't piss her off with all the football I watch before then
