      Never Forget!!!

And watch this to help you remember.

1400 shocking years of Islam in 5 minutes. It's really 18 minutes.

Watched the video. A sobering reminder of how religion (all religions in general, but especially the abrahamic ones) remains a blight on human existence. One day we will overcome our impulse for fantasy and myth and become a better version of ourselves without the need for fairy tales.

When I worked for Voc Rehab in NYC in early 70's they had completed one tower. Because the high end renters had not yet sought space, they filled a lot of office space with state agencies. On a couple of occasions I attended district staff meetings there. I parked my van underground where the 1st van bomb would later be detonated. I would experience mild vertigo looking out the windows.

Wrong guy was the president that day and the whole world is paying for it since then. We always had great leaders during the most difficult times in history: Washington during Independence War, Lincoln during Civil War, Roosevelt during WWII.

                W. Bush used that day to avenge the assasination attempt on his father and show his father that he was going to finish what his father wisely did not start (Overthrow of Saddam)

I worked the towers as an operating engineer during the early '80s for a period of time. Especially since it was afterhours I had the opportunity to learn every inch of those 5 buildings, underground levels, levels above the observation deck, Vista hotel, and pumping station 1 block away. Nothing less than awestruck with the magnanimousity of the structure, and nothing less than heartbroken with its loss. With a straight line of sight up 7th ave I watched the whole thing unfold with shock & horror.
