  • how to use a cell phone

I have decided the time has come for me to enter the cellular phone age. Now, the question is, how do I use it. I am a C-5 Quad with deteriorating function and no tenodesis, among other issues which affect the use of my arms.

    Thank you for any help.

Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

Alan, I’m also a C-5 and could not imagine living without the use of myself own. In fact, that’s how I’m responding to this post.

I use the iPhone 6 Plus because I prefer the larger screen. What I do is velcro it to the armrest of my chair and utilize a wrist brace with a stylus attached to it to access the controls on my phone. It’s super simple and works amazing well. Here’s a link to the wrist brace I use.

I am a C-3 quad and I use switch control to use an iPhone. I use my chair buttons as the controls which are connected via Bluetooth to my phone. Here is an example video of how it works: . The type of switch you use is up to you. Like I said, mine are actually the controls I use to drive my chair.

I place cell phone on palm pad of my chair and use mouthstick to operate phone.

I'm a C3 quad and I have a permobil chair with a Bluetooth iDevice module. I use an iPhone with switch control which is connected via Bluetooth to my chairs drive controls. you don't necessarily need the switch to be part of your chair. I tried to link a video a couple of days ago, but I guess the mods don't like that.

          * if you Google "iPhone switch control" you can find info and example videos.

I made some of these and attached them to every phone in my house. Here are some old pictures but they work great.
