Like T8burst, I am appalled by the number of people who are accepting the large number of similar accusations as the truth. "Normally the rule of law should apply, but given the number of accusers, we can ignore the rule of law in this case." What has happened to my country?

Good grief! Don't confuse our (and the public's) right to ruminate with the judicial system. The rule of law will prevail.
The recent not guilty of any malfeasance of the two officers who assassinated a 12 year old with a BB gun demonstrates that the system is working

The married man made the vows, not the women. Also, he's a business man and these women worked for him or were trying to get parts.

its not about not (needing rape women.) its about his power over them, their helplessness, the fact that he managed to lure them and drug them.

do you think a man like that will feel the same satisfaction from paying a prostitute to pretend she's helpless and defenseless? no, its about consuming the one you chose even if she would never have anything to do with you if she had any way to stop it. sure he could pay someone to be his meat pie, but that doesn't satisfy the real need in him.

its exactly the same as a hunter trying to get that certain rack. he can go buy a mounted head, and he can go buy deer steaks, so why would he go shoot that amazing buck with the atypical rack? he spotted the one he wanted and put her in his sights, he convinced her she was safe with him, (deer feeders, salt, molasses corn) then he rendered her immobile, and did what he needed to do with the carcass. if you're a good deer hunter you don't need buy meat. Cosby was a pretty skilled deer hunter.

I'm totally with you Jody. What you say is so correct only a dumbed down person could imaging cosby 'innocent.

The majority of those women are not 'looking for money' but are needing to get the truth about cosby out there. The only punishment he will face is disgrace.
He is, at this point anyway, above the law. But, it looks like the Law may just catch this sick man.

It was pretty hard to post that, but I guess I just needed to say that no money is enough to admit that happened. you feel stupid, how could I be so stupid, and not know that was possible? I felt at fault for the immediate divorce that followed. when I was adopted into that family it was an entire family, when I left it was under polices escort, and the family was no longer a family.

I think those women might have struggled with that kind of thing too. as far as I know none of them are asking for money. who would want money for being rape?
Cosby is innocent until proven guilty. no matter what the verdict his admitting that he used drugs to incapacitate women so he could have sex with them is him being accountable for his actions. its enough. He's an old man and he has to live in his own stink now. thats how I felt when I learned years later my enemy had been finally held accountable. he's a listed sex offender. he served only 1 day in jail, but he's paid something at least by being on a sex offender list.

thats all those ladies want. he had his fun, now he gets to sign it.
