Very beautiful, so do you live in the country, or just have a very big back yard?

Thank you, Flying. I live in a subdivision with an average size back yard. What you see is considered common ground, owned by the Home Owners Association. There's a BB court in the distance to the left, a nice playground to the right, and a creek running off of the Harpeth River at the tree line. A variety of wildlife and the sounds from the birds are as lovely as the view.

My husband built the screened porch which I call my office. I keep my laptop out here and have heaters for the cold months.

I love your view! My Grandfather had cattle. I loved to heard them on horseback. Bet it can be done from the right chair too! We're keeping an eye our for land, maybe building. Chicken are on my "must have" list!

Charlottes Web Your porch looks lovely and what a great place to have your "office" and spent some time.
I through this together so that I could get of my pour butt and my wife can seat, an we can play cards on the south facing front porch.
OK smart people how do you make two pictures show up in the same post.

So you look out the window and see a bunch of bullshit? I overlook my chickencoop so you know what I'm looking at.

Beautiful view you have, I'm jealous.

Wow, that's a great set up!!! My husband has talked about building a swinging bed on the porch. I've found some nice examples over the years. But, I think he's afraid I'll never come inside again. With a good critter net and thick memory foam he would have good reason to worry.

This one is looking out the back window to the northeast at midsummer. They had just cut the hay in the field.

Donno, you're looking at my dream everyday! Land and a barn! The clothesline is so adorable! If you have chickens I'm really going to be jealous of your piece of Heaven on earth. It's a beautiful place!!!

Here is one looking to the northwest...
Unfortunately, we don't own the field, just the view. No chickens, but many of the neighbors have them.

Gorgeous!!! But looking at the snow gave me zingers...lol! Even better you don't own it; a view without taxes, chicken without the work! Hopefully your neighbors sell or gift you fresh eggs.

Speaking of, our neighbors to the left purchased their house from San Fran, sight unseen. When they moved in, they thought our back yard was their property as it appeared from the listing pictures. They were so excited about all the bird feeders and planted vegetable garden. We had to break the news to them while they were checking out the tomatoes in what they thought was their garden. It was funny but I felt bad for them too. Their backyard is tiny.

I'm grateful for the creek line, but our view to the left is no post card. It faces the back of their house and kitchen window, about 60' away. We were the first house in the sub and were able to get a larger lot than most. We're talking about moving soon - build or buy, don't know yet, but land and privacy is a must!

I'm running the heater out here today. Think I missed spring and summer, it's cold! Hope you enjoy that view today!
