Congratulations (?) on the milestone anniversary. My 30th is coming up in October. Sorry about the UTI but glad to see you're chugging along.

30 years as a crip - congrats, I think. My buddy Mark Wellman is 30 years too and his mantra became "30 years as a crip" and we would repeat that at every possible moment till it became a fun joke. I am only 11 years as a crip... A newbie......

Hardcore dude, I'm rolling up on 10 in a bit, 20 more isn't something I want to dwell on. I'll take 'em as they come.

Bike wreck here too, many thought I was nuts for getting another bike, but when it's in ya, what'cha gonna do.

I'm coming up on 32 years May 9th. For many years I thought research would get me back on my feet again. At this point I have no hope at all and just know I will never walk again. I allowed the thought of a cure to affect some of my health care decisions like not getting a bladder augmentation which I now wish I'd gone through and done, too late now though. Anyhow, take care of yourself, eat right and hope for no disease or illness and you should be around for many years to come.

                            the challenges you seek...If

Had my 30th last October, wish I could be as positive but 4 years of constant uti hell has warn me down. The recent cc deaths from sepsis have me contemplating my mortality.
