Gold plated strictly for anti-bacterial control.

Please tell us how this was paid for in-full thru Obamacare?

Notice that there are no hand rims on it. God forbid she should have to wheel herself.

It looks to me to have been customised by the same guy who customised Herman Munsters hot rod.

          Haha-I don't know Tim.
It looks like something out of a Tim Burton movie or as mentioned Herman Munster's hotrod.

Sheesh, it is just a hospital W/C with gold plating and fancy wheels & upholstery.

Lady Gaga uses a wheelchair as an fashion accessory

I am not sure if this would be the correct forum to post this. I just thought it would be an interesting discussion to bring to the attention that Lady Gaga is using a wheelchair as a fashion accessory. I find this behavior to be wrong and disgraceful.

While LG has used a wheelchair as a fashion accessory in the past (see http://cripwheels.blogspot.com/2009/...heelchair.html and http://cripwheels.blogspot.com/2011/...lchair-ii.html), this time she actually has an excuse as she is recovering from hip surgery.

I don't think her chair is very cute but I kind of like that she is making good use of it to get around and using it as an accessory. I want to bling mine up a bit too. Might as well have fun with it since I'm stuck with it for the rest of my life

This is a custom solid gold 24k wheelchair. It takes planning and premeditation to make something like this. The surgery is not 100% a certain fact.

I agree. She is already a little outrageous, however this is very extreme. Like I said in the other forum, the surgery is not 100% a fact.

Here is my point. There are so many more things that are important. I am definitely not fueling this publicity stunt. It will be interesting to see what happens next? This is quite an expensive extravaganza. If she uses the wheelchair outside of medical issues it is a problem.

Yea, I don't understand why she wouldn't get a quality chair, as opposed to gold plating a junker...
