Update From Laura:
update 1-11 good news gene has been on 50% O2 for 24 hrs on the vent ... he was at 100% O2 .. then today the lung dr came his left lung is healed.. his right low lub is still down & has some muscus .. so he is going in & take it out.. then they will try to take the vent off after that. So hopefully by tonight he will be off the vent . Keep praying that it will work out like this ... god is good ...

update 1-15 ....god is good.. he is now in icu stepdown...he is still on oxygen... but lung dr side he is doing better .. only use by-pap while sleeping..
