Happy Thanksgiving from all the SCI-Nurses (USA. The Canadians already had theirs in September.)

      (KLD)
The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.

The madness begins. I've been cleaning like a maniac from both power and manual chairs. Getting in to the bathroom means flinging the bathmat over my head in to the hallway. Now I can get at stuff. Crash, scrape, bang, goes my powerchair eating up the rest of the place. Transer again - it's time to take out the garbage, need the manual for that. Ice down my back then somehow get in the shower, dressed and open the door for my girlfriend who has the real hard part - the cooking. Thank goodness she just sent me an email to start defrosting the fish and scallops.

Oh family and Thanksgiving. It's a beautiful day here in San Francisco, stunning. Cool enough for everyone to take an after meal walk in sweaters. The madness begins and, the fun. Happy Thanksgiving :-)
