over the knee is awesome!! flaunt it! i got my knee highs at payless and the zipper goes all the way down to the sole so i can get my foot in. i put one of those gel inserts in to protect my feet. weird wearing shoes not my size! used to small kid sized shoes lol i used yarn and beads to make a loop on the zipper so i can hook my finger through it and pull the zipper up on my own.

Ladies of a certain shape should never wear skin tight jeans.

For the rest boots over jeans are part of the the Winter wonderland, you'll look great, leave 'em up or fold 'em down, either way = classy knockout!

You need to put that outfit on and hit the closest bar to dance the night away. That is what I love about the southwest...it never goes out of style.

I even found a pair of boots I think I can wear...

Do whatever feels right. Don't spend even a minute worrying about who thinks what.

Boots I've tried leave red marks on my feet and ankles. This doesn't happen to anyone? I even have narrow feet and minimal to no swelling. How do you do over the knee boots? My cushion is just an inch or so shorter than my upper leg. Are your thighs sitting on the upper boot part all day? No skin issues?

Beth, I remember very few women, among the locals, back when I was subjected to San Angelo, Texas for 4 months or so. I know the look and the biggie is the attitude and the tights versus sheer stockings. With that dress, you'll rock them well. Try and do that southwestern puffed up hair and you're there. And you do not have the look it takes to be a hooker. Neither did Julia Roberts. Hookers are easy to spot even when they don't advertise. You have too much moxie to ever be mistkeen for one. I could see you in slim jeans and a leather jacket with them rolled up or down too.
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."

Agreed. And I never worried about getting my period for the first time at school! lol ... seems trivial but it happened to a friend who was wearing white pants at school on that tragic day ...

What kind of gel inserts? It's the side of my toes and my ankle bone that gets marks...heel at times even if I go up a half size.

The marks go away eventually but seems like playing with fire. Maybe it's normal to have pink marks as long as you watch them and make sure they fade???
