  • Tattoos and stem cell

Not sure where to post this or if it's a dumb question but I'm considering a tattoo on my neck at the level of injury. Surgery was done in front but I'm getting mine on the back. Would I still qualify for stem cell trials?

The only thing with tattoos is that the ink in them can heat up during an MRI.

I have a tattoo, but I've never felt it heat up ... but mine is 20yrs old.

I can't see a reason when talking about trials though.

    What are you getting????

Awesomeness! You've come such a long way in such a short time! It's impressive - really!

I hope the original poster knows I am just joking around, I think that her tattoo idea is nice. I was just being funny. I am thinking about getting something like the attached image (the "D" picture with just the hardware) over my injury site

                    tom,

thank you for finally changing your avatar. How dare you subject us so long to that prior aesthetically displeasing image. I know that several members seemed to be getting quite disturbed by it. I was afraid there might be a call for a ban of it, or worse you! I feel so much better coming here now, knowing that someone that looks like Brad Pitt is among us

Ugh, I'm in the green zones. Back right shoulder. I can't decide if I'm lame or socially acceptable ... (it's a kitten's furry head surrounded by flowers - it was twenty years ago!).
