      betheny, u can avoid mosquitoes in ponds by putting a fountain in it. they cant lay eggs in moving water

        or get a couple of frogs they breed and eat the mosquitoes. I want a water feature and breed native frogs, most species of frogs are endangered. would have to fence it off from my cat.

              i live too far south for cane toads, there is a die back of most frog species world wide. They think its because of polution they have sensitive skin. so they are dying out world wide. I don't want to be the last generation to see a frog in the wild, just a coule of articles of several thousand-
