  • My life story

I contributed an article to the local newspaper here and thought it'd be good to share it with CareCure folks.

Peter, That was very impressive writing and would be good reading for families of newly injured SCI people.
Your parents were wonderful people and would be very proud of their son.

Great job, Peter. Reading your story made me realize how lucky I was to have already been 45 when I got crippled and how much things changed from 1984 to 1993, when I was injured. There was never any question of not becoming as independent when I was hospitalized.

Peter, its wonderful you discovered your life's calling. We discover what we are really made of when everything is taken away and strength, perseverance comes from adversity.

                          Great story.
