    Handicap Parking at sonics drive-in

stopped by sonics after work a hour ago, as I was leaving i noticed a handicap parking spot,
i thought it was funny since the place is a drive in, but something caught me weird about
the top of the ramp, so i had to grab a pic to share with you all
    enjoy

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

I see a lot of similar situations in the retail sales world. You don't usually think about such blockages in you are not a wheeler.

Ha! Crazy. I guess you have to eat in your car at that Sonic.

Looks like if its nice out you can get out and eat at the table......looks like there is room between the trash can and table to get in farther.

no, a chair could not fit between the table and trashcan, and if they were thinking you could eat at the table, i'm sure they would have put one of those other tables with the unattached chairs.
i'm sure it was a oversight, hate to think if the weheelchair had to go to the restroom

try wheeling around a Dick's Sporting Goods store. i like to go in there and push the racks around to make a path, of course they just stare and give me dirty looks, but nobody ever offers any assistance.

The last time I went to one, I was all happy they had chili fries/tots, until I went to eat them, They must have been from the day before the day before. Yuck

Same here jc. I guess it's their national policy to have 20" between all the racks.

Apparently they never thought anyone would actually come up the ramp! This happens all the time to me with restrooms in restaurants. Some have been built with great access features, but it makes little difference when the restaurant stores high chairs and other junk in the hallway leading to them!

It might be a good time to call for a wheeler flash mob at that location during lunch hour.
